Richard Allen Jarboe

August 14, 1958 — December 10, 2020

Richard Jarboe (Ricky), 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Rick enjoyed all the local spots on River Road, tugboats, heavy equipment, semi-trucks, his beloved friends which there are too many to begin to count, his loving daughters, and the good times. Rick lived life to the fullest every single day. It was impossible not to smile and laugh when you were with him. He was a true prankster. He was the most generous soul to those he loved the most and would do anything to help anyone out at any time. He was born on August 14, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Annette Jarboe. He is preceded in death by his Father, James Everett Jarboe, and Mother, Annette Thayer Jarboe.

Ricky is survived by his daughters, Micklyn M. Young (Sean) and Markley R. Meister (Cody); granddaughters, Eden M. Meister, and Adalyn R. Hawkins; grandson, Jett M. Young; sisters, Joyce E. Jarboe, and Bonnie L. Jarboe Darling; brothers, James D. Jarboe, Ronald E. Jarboe, and Guy E. Jarboe; and his extremely large group of friends that he loved more than life itself.

In his own true fashion, his request was to have a celebration of life which will be held this Spring at one of his favorite spots on River Road. A date will be announced in the coming months, so please stay tuned.

The family requests that contributions in Ricky's memory be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
