Richard "Poppa" Albert Jackson Jr., 55, of Louisville Kentucky, passed away on May 14, 2021. He was born on February 13, 1966 to the late Richard & Bobbie Jean Jackson. He was proceeded in eternal rest by his Parents, Richard & Bobbie Jean Jackson and Brother, Larry Jackson.

Poppa attended Maplewood High School in Nashville, TN. In 1982 the Jackson Family moved to Louisville, where Poppa became known as the "Neighborhood Mechanic of Newburg". Poppa will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

Richard is survived by his Daughters, Angela Tinsley, and Lilly Jackson, Grandchildren, Tyvonte, Teayanna, Tkeyah, Taniyah, and Jason Johnson, Siblings, David Miller, Donald Miller, James (Jackie) Miller, Brenda (Harry) Porter, Helena Jackson, and Frances Miller. Poppa is also survived by 26 Nieces & Nephews, 42 Great Nieces & Nephews, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Special Friends, Donnie (Michelle) Simpson, Tequila (Jermaine) Buckner, Marilyn Brewer, Fredrick (Charity) Dawson, Warren (Paula) Jones, and Stephan (Sheila) Walker, and a host of dedicated Friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
