Richard Inman, age 71 of Crestwood, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017. He was an Air Force Veteran who enlisted two times. He retired from Naval Ordnance after more than 20 years of service. Most recently, he was employed with Advanced Production Systems in Louisville. He was an avid Patriots fan and loved to eat. Rick was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Edna Potts Inman.
Rick is survived by his daughter, Ella Nora Inman; cousins, Susan Leavitt Nasif (Joseph) and John W. Leavitt (Linda); mother-in-law, Edna Rose Gaddie Potts; special friends, Juan, Melissa and Walter; many members of the Potts family; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 3-6pm on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, followed by a celebration of Rick's life at 6pm. Burial will be the following day, Thursday, February 16th at 11am in the Smithfield Cemetery with Military Honors.
