Richard Glen "Rick" Harris, 60, of Henryville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016. He was an employee for Norfolk-Southern for 20 years and the former First Officer of the SCRC 372.
He was born on December 28, 1955 to the late Jack and Lucille (Dorsey) Harris. Rick is survived by his wife, Darlene (Mathley) Harris; children, Ashlie Harris, Tommy Riordan (Tessa), Scott Riordan (Suzanne); brothers, Gary Harris (Michele), Brian Harris (Angela); and grandchildren, Noah, Levi, Ethan, Lane, Ryder, Nathaniel, and Shaylin.
Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Friday after 11 AM. His Funeral Service will take place at 1 PM on Friday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
Contributions in Rick's memory may be made to Gentiva Hospice (391 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
