Richard Frederick Gnadinger

Richard Frederick "Rich" Gnadinger, 74, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016. He was always staying busy, whether it was enjoying the company of his parakeets or spending time at grandchildren's many sports and school events. Rich liked to play Euchre and loved to take his wife dancing. He was a longtime member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville.

He was born on November 28, 1941, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Robert & Pauline (Denham) Gnadinger. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Robert, Mary Jean, Paul & Joseph.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judith (Williams) Gnadinger; children, Steve Gnadinger (Lisa), Philip Gnadinger (Mary), & Laura Frost (John); brother, Bill Gnadinger (Peach); and his grandchildren, Marissa, Matthew, Emily, Thomas, Gregory, Michael, Joshua, & Kaitlyn.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (316 N Sherwood Ave, Clarksville, IN 47129) with burial to follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
