He was a retired service station attendant and amember of Dixie Valley Church of God.
He is survived by his wife Patricia; parents, Charles and Nancy Eddington; sons, Richard Eddington Jr., Jason Brester and James Moore; brother, Steve Eddington; sisters, Cathy Gore, Judy Hodge, Carrie Duvall and Tracy Houchins and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral ceremony 11 AM Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive with visitation Tuesday from 12 noon - 8 PM. The burial will be private.
