Richard "Corky" Neuner Sr.

Richard "Corky" Neuner Sr., 92, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024. 

He was born on October 3, 1931 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Lawrence and Mary (Knoer ) Neuner. He is also preceded in death by his wives, Mary (Cecil) Neuner and Linda (Wallace) Neuner, granddaughter, Amanda, siblings, Lawrence Neuner, Edward Neuner, Norbert Neuner, Francis Neuner and Sherry Kralik.

Corky was a bricklayer for 47 years and received a 75 year service award from the Bricklayers Union. He was a contestant and showcase winner on The Price is Right with Bob Barker. Corky was the most awesome Dad, he was fun, loving, witty and never met a stranger. He never forgot a face or a name. 

Corky is survived by his loving children, Donna Cahill (Mike), Richard Neuner, Jr. (Kim), Christopher Neuner (Joanne); three grandchildren, Richard III, Jenna, Christina and five great-grandchildren, Jackson, Dalton, Madelyn, Caden and Gabriel. He is also survived by Linda's children, Patti Bingham and Lori Browning. 

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243). 

Mass will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Incarnation Catholic Church (2229 Lower Hunters Trace, Louisville, KY 40216) with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery (701 Baxter Ave, Louisville, KY 40204). 

The family requests that contributions in Corky’s memory be made to Kosair Childrens' Hospital.
