Richard Andrew Brookins , 85, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 17, 2017.
Richard worked for Dahlem Construction as a carpenter for many years.
He was born on August 9, 1932, Atlanta, GA to the late James Brookins and Henrietta Harris.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Joyce (Taylor) Brookins; children, Pamela Crenshaw, Richard Brooks (Joyce), Princess Moore; sister-in-law, Joan Nailon; brothers, Robert, Fred, Walter and Anderson Brookins; and a host of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen and there was a private memorial service held for the family.
In loving memory of Richard, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
