Richard Louis Ball, 77, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020. He was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was born on May 25, 1942, in Bennettsville, Indiana, to the late Clarence Ball and Catherine (Shubnell) Ott.
Richard is survived by his wife, Wanda Ball; children, Tony Ball, Dana Keeton (Alton Lohden), Tim Ball (Lois), Tom Ball, and Deanne Mason (Eric); sisters, Shirley Bott (Herman) and Sharon Wimp (James); ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his funeral service taking place at 3:00 p.m. Cremation will follow according to Richard's wishes, and he will be laid to rest privately at Bethany Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
Contributions in Richard's memory may be made to Hosparus - the Community Hospice of Southern Indiana (502 Hausfeldt Lane, New Albany, IN 47150).
