Richard Wesley Anderson

Richard Wesley "Dick" Anderson, 83, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017. He was a United States Army veteran and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Jeffersonville.
Dick was born on December 24, 1933, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Julius and Phyllis (Dedynski) Anderson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Anderson.
He is survived by his children, Dawn Durham (Mick), Debbie Abuya (Dan), Carl Anderson (Tamara), and Steve Anderson (Johnna); grandchildren, Zachary, Hannah, Gavin, Harrison, Jayden, Jordan, and June; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen following Dick's wishes. He will be laid to rest with military honors on Friday, March 17, 2017, at 2:30 p.m. at New Albany National Cemetery (1943 Ekin Avenue, New Albany, Indiana 47150).
