Rhonda Emberton

Rhonda Sue Emberton, 58, of Louisville, passed away on January 1, 2016. Rhonda was born in Louisville on August 2, 1957, to George Umensetter and Verna (Cundiff) Davenport. She graduated from PRP High School in 1975 and became a hair stylist shortly thereafter. Rhonda worked up until recently at Southern Comforts Salon.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her father, George. Survivors include her mother, Verna; her husband of 24 years, Richard Emberton; son, Jacob Emberton; daughter, Crystal Rae Emberton; six grandchildren; sisters, Phyliss Coffey and Toy Wheeler; brother, Tommy Umensetter; step-sister, Daneen Powers; step-brother, Wayne Powers; and step-mother, Carol Umensetter.

Memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, January 8, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272) with visitation from 3:00 pm until time of service.
