Rev. Thomas (Grinch) Cheek, 50, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020. Tom loved Jesus, encouraging others, recovery, blogging, Hallmark Christmas movies, music, family, generosity, and time with his family.
He was born on July 7, 1970 in Louisville, Kentucky to Thomas and Betty (Dunn) Cheek. He is preceded in death by his Father, Thomas P. Dunn, Grandfather Frank Smith and Grandmother Christine Smith.
Thomas is survived by his loving family, Mother, Betty Cheek: Sister, Tracy L. (Kenneth) Allen: Aunt, Penny S. Hagan: Nephew, Christopher M Tripton: Great-Nephew, Luke M Tripton: Uncle, Mike (Sherri) Smith: Cousins, Mark Metcalf, Tyler Young, and Michael Smith: His beloved cat Bootsie. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish his memory. Tom was very close to his church family and friends in Celebrate Recovery.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Life Church Louisville, (4413 E. Pages Lane Louisville, KY 40272). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:30 am on Sunday, at Life Church Louisville with cremation to follow.
