Rev. Joseph G. Starrett, 77, of Louisville, KY, peacefully left his earthly body to be present with the Lord surrounded by family on Saturday, February 24, 2018.
Rev. Starrett pastored Lighthouse WMC in Fern Creek, KY for over 41 years sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Rev Starrett is survived by his wife of 56 years, Louise; children, Anne Hardin (John), Lisa Dickerson (Matt), and Shannon Davis; grandchildren, Joe (Tiffany), Michael, Tytus, Madison, Lydia and Caleb; sister, Linda Jones (Paul); mother-in-love, Mildred Haysley; niece and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Newcomer, Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243), A celebration of Rev. Joseph's life will be held on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lighthouse WMC - Missions at 9223 Fern Creek Road, Louisville, KY 40291.
