Rev. Benjamin Binkley

January 31, 1928 — May 27, 2025

Reverend Benjamin Franklin Binkley passed from this life to the presence of Jesus on May 27th, 2025 in Louisville, Kentucky.

He is survived by his wife Dee and her son Tom Loew (Tiffany), eleven grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren. Also his brother Ed Binkley, and his niece Carolyn Binkley.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Sarah Elizabeth, son Arthur Manning, Jr., daughter Sarah Binkley Rutherford, and Dee's son David Loew.

He was a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Emory University, Candler School of Theology. He was ordained a Methodist Pastor in 1953 and became the founding pastor of Hilldale United Methodist Church in 1954, in Clarksville Tennessee. He served the Lord in many ways over his long ministry, notably in the Methodist and Episcopal churches, in music ministry, as well as a as counselor for Dawning, A Christian Life Ministry.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 am, CDT, Friday, June 20th, 2025 at Hilldale United Methodist Church, 1751 Madison Street, Clarksville, Tennessee.
