Renardo Brent

Renardo Lamont Brent, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026. Renardo spent the final weeks of his life surrounded by the people he loved, celebrating his grandson’s and son’s birthdays and making cherished memories with family.

He was born on May 12, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Leon and Doris (Graham) Brent. He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Brent, and nephew, Jamar Douglas.

Renardo is survived by his loving mother, Doris Graham; son, Justin (Karli) Brent; grandchildren, Braxton Brent and Juliana Brent; siblings, Robin Hammond and Tarri Brent; nephews, Gary (Elie) Miles and Corwin Hammond Jr.; niece, She’Tara Golston; as well as a host of family and friends who will cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions – Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy. His Celebration of Life Service will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions – Southwest Louisville Chapel.
