Regina Lynn Wells

Regina Lynn Wells, beloved daughter of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on June 22, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky at the age of 62. Born on September 24, 1963, in Louisville, Regina’s journey began in the vibrant heart of Kentucky.

To those who knew her, Regina was a gentle soul whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and light to every room she entered. Her kindness and quiet strength inspired those around her, and she was known for her unwavering loyalty to friends, family, and community. Regina moved through life with grace and empathy, always willing to lend a listening ear or a helping hand to those in need.

Regina’s life was rich with memories made and connections nurtured. She embraced each day with a sense of gratitude and resilience, finding beauty in simple moments and sharing her warmth generously with all who crossed her path.

Regina’s legacy is one of compassion, thoughtfulness, and deep care for others. Her enduring spirit and gentle heart remain in the memories of all who had the privilege to know her. Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave continues to ripple outward, a testament to a life lived with genuine kindness.

Her memory will be carried forward by the people whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace, her journey complete but her love everlasting.

She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Wells; brothers, Rocky and Ricky Wells.

Regina is survived by her mother, Edna Wells, life Partner, Schuyler McKenzie, Sister, Sheila (Joe) Goss, Nephew, Brad (Meredith) Terry, Niece, Laci (Russell) Nolan, Nephew, Josh (Lauren) Wells, Nephew, Dustin Wells, Nephew, Scott Wells, Nephew, Matthew (Tosha) Wells, sister in law, Donna Wells; several cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00AM to 1:00PM on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Her Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at funeral home with burial to follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery in Memphis, Indiana.
