Rebecca Jane Woosley

Rebecca Jane "Becky" Woosley passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at St. Matthew Care Center after a long illness. She was born July 31, 1954 to the late Edward Louis Horn and Wanda Maryland Lucas. She was a member of Zion Church. Becky was a Nurses Aid for 18 years at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital and worked as a private sitter at various nursing homes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael D. Horn.
Becky is survived by her son, John Louis Woosley; ex-husband, John Woosley; brothers, Kenneth (Joann), Jim (Sue) and Mack Horn; sister, Patricia Zimmerman (Bruce); and her beloved niece, Catherine "Katie" Cash (Steven); and many loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held 10:30 to 11:30am Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive. Louisville, KY 40243, with a celebration of Becky's life at 11:30am there. Burial will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
