Rebecca Lynn Cundiff

Rebecca Lynn Cundiff, 52, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on October 11, 2026. She was born on February 6, 1974, in Louisville, and will be remembered as a strong and independent woman whose faith carried her through life and whose presence could always brighten a room.

Rebecca was a devoted single mother, and nothing meant more to her than her children. Her proudest accomplishment was the family she loved so deeply, and that love remained at the center of her life. She was known for her warm personality, her strength, and the kind of spirit and faith that brought light to those around her.

She enjoyed the outdoors, found joy in painting during her younger years, and had a special love for her dogs. These simple but meaningful parts of life reflected the heart of who she was—someone who appreciated beauty, companionship, and the everyday moments that become treasured memories.

Rebecca leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory forward. She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Miranda Cundiff; son, Derrick Cundiff; brother, Beavin (Tracy) Cundiff, Jr.; sister, Margie Cundiff' nephews, Blake (Hayden) Cundiff, Brayden Cundiff, Timothy (Ashley) Krages, Jr., Travis Krages; great-nephews, Jayden Krages, Nash Krages, Talon Cundiff; Aunt, Lavina (Ralph) Hardin; cousins, Dakota Casey, Brandon Casey, Rodney Casey,; her beloved dogs, Lola, Rex, and Nina; as well as a host of extended family and friends. Each of them was part of the circle of love that surrounded Rebecca’s life, and each will hold close the memories they shared with her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Beavin Cundiff, Sr., and her mother, Linda Cundiff. Their memory remained an important part of her life, and now she rests with those who went before her.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on October 18, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville, 235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243. A Celebration of Life will follow there at 4:30 p.m.

Rebecca Lynn Cundiff will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her strength, her faith, her love for her family, and the brightness she brought into the lives of others.
