Rebecca “Becky” Louise Davis Eddins, 81, went to Heaven on June 13, 2025. She lived the majority of her life in Southern Indiana. She was a majorette at Jeffersonville High School and still maintained friendships with “the high school girls.” She retired from devoting almost 15 years as the secretary of Restoration Christian Church. She also served at a Christian ministry, Ben Israel, in Northern Minnesota for many years.
It’s difficult to capture her life and impact in words. She had a heart for Jesus and for helping people, and she touched many lives in many different ways. A great cook, she fed countless people. She opened her home to many out of town guests. Her greatest gift was encouraging everyone, from strangers along the way to family to lifelong friends. She was truly an ambassador for Jesus. We will never know just how great an impact she had here on earth, but her mansion in Heaven will be HUGE.
Her very favorite place was the beach- walking on the sand or sitting on a balcony listening to the waves. She also loved to play cards, especially Hand and Foot- nobody was luckier than her. She couldn’t tell a joke properly, but was naturally funny- and made herself laugh hard on a regular basis!
She always said that being a mom was her greatest joy- and she is survived by two very blessed children, Kristina (Mike) and Matthew. She is also survived by her husband, Frank, and sisters Patricia (Richard) Wyzard and Melinda Phillips. She was known as “FAB” (Favorite Auntie Becky). This list would be too long if it included both family and those who considered her family. She leaves a huge legacy.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with Becky's memorial service taking place at 2:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest privately at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
Contributions in Becky’s memory may be made to Andrew Wommack Ministries (https://store.awmi.net/home).
