Rebecca Anne Kemp

Rebecca Anne Kemp, 42, of Taylorsville, Kentucky passed away on October 26, 2015. Becky loved spending time with her nephews, Drew and Christopher, her dogs, Buddy and Darla, and her family and friends. She also loved spending time in nature – watching hummingbirds, being near the water, or just listening to music or reading.

Rebecca was born on July 27, 1973, in Nashville, Tennessee to Ronald and Phyllis (Taylor) Kemp. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Alice Wray Taylor; grandfather, Alex W. Taylor; uncle, Ralph Leslie Kemp; and grandmother, Rebecca Dean Kemp.

Rebecca is survived by her parents, Ronald and Phyllis (Taylor) Kemp; sister, Katherine E. Collis (Dr. Dean Collis); nephews, Drew and Christopher Collis; many uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 5th, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 at Taylorsville United Methodist Church (145 W. Main Street Taylorsville, KY 40071). Celebration of Life Service will be held at Hillsboro United Methodist Church (5313 Old Hwy 96 Franklin (Leiper's Fork), TN 37064) on Saturday, November 7th, 2015 at 4:00 pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Louisville Zoo and the Louisville Humane Society.
