Raymond D. Willett , 85, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019. Raymond proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a Pharmacy Technician, retiring after 20 years of service.
He was born on June 25, 1934 in Louisville, Kentucky to Joseph and Opal (Quiggins) Willett. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister , Doris Poll; brothers: Roger Willett, Frank Willett and James C. Willett.
Raymond is survived by his brother, Charles (Dottie) Willett; nieces, Opal Poll and Maria Willett; nephew, Henry Poll (Connie Hust); and ex-wife, Carol Rogers.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery - Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Raymond's memory be made to the Robley Rex V.A. Medical Center, Louisville, KY.
