Raymond Deward King Jr., 68, of Edwardsville, Indiana passed away peacefully on July 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 10, 1955 in New Albany, Indiana. Raymond was the cherished son of the late Raymond King Sr. and Norma Puckett.

Raymond was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle great uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his two sisters Karen King and Pamela Wise and brother Kenny King . He was survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Carol King his fur baby Snickers, his brother Johnnie King, his sister Gail Harris, stepsister Marcella Kirchner and niece Christy Schuler (Chris) who was blessed to work with him for 30 years.

He dedicated over 30 years of his career to Wooten Pallet Co. where his expertise work ethic and kindness earned him the respect and admiration of his coworkers. Raymond’s passion for life extended beyond professional achievements. He was an avid outdoorsman who love fishing, mushroom, deer and squirrel hunting, karaoke, and working on automobiles. 

Raymond King Jr’s legacy of kindness, love and dedication to his family, friends and coworkers will forever be remembered. His spirit will live on in the heart of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
