Raymond John Huth

Raymond J. Huth, 85, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 with his family at his side. A veteran of the U. S. Army, Raymond was a long-time farmer in the community who retired from B. F. Goodrich in Louisville. He was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church in Floyds Knobs.

Raymond was born on March 31, 1929 in Floyd County, Indiana to the late John and Clara (Batliner) Huth. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene and Gerald Huth, and sister, Jeanette Huth.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Marie "Pat" (Geswein) Huth; sons, John (Marcia), Kenny (Nina), and Bob (Erin) Huth; daughters, Nancy Boss, Barbara James, and Donna Willis (Brad); sister, Mary Reed (Ronnie); and brother, Richard Huth (Joyce); 14 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 8 PM on Friday, December, 26, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane New Albany, Indiana 47150) and from 9 to 10 AM on Saturday in the chapel at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church (5719 St. Mary 's Road, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, December 27 in the church chapel with burial and military honors to follow in the church cemetery.
