Raymond Harry Dempsie

Raymond Harry Dempsie, 78, of Louisville, passed away on October 30, 2015. Ray retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years and was a proud Army veteran.
Ray was born in Williamsburg, PA on August 27, 1937. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Dempsie, and sister, Sarah Hockensmith.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Peggy Dempsie; children, Petra Krone, James A. White, Kenneth White, and Rockie Lockard; sister, Bertha Dickson; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and extended family members.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Hosparus for their care and compassion during Ray's final days.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy) with funeral service beginning at 7:00 pm.
