Raymond Eugene Hall, Sr

Raymond Eugene Hall, Sr, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on December 23, 2021. He served on the police force on Capital Hill in Washington, DC, later retired from General Electric and was a member of Okolona Church of Christ. Raymond enjoyed going hunting, was an avid UK fan and loved supporting his children and grandchildren in all the activities they were involved in.

Raymond was born on October 20, 1943, Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Hauley and Dorothy Hall.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 58 years, Martha "Tiny" Jewell (Webb) Hall; son, Raymond ( Karen) Hall, Jr; daughters, Renee (Steve) Welch and Melissa Dawn Weeks; son-in-law, Jimmy Weeks; grandchildren, Tera Rae (Robert) Wiseman, Blake Edward (La) Hall, Brent Michael (Melissa) Welch, Mackenzie Brooke Welch, Morgan Danielle (Josh) Whitmer, Alexia Paige Welch, James "Little Jimmy" Foree Weeks IV, Jacob Michael Weeks, Jorden Matthew Weeks, Jada Grace Weeks and Josie Dawn Weeks; great-grandchildren, Beau Edward Hall, Lincoln Blake Wiseman, Lillian Blake Hall, Savvy Marie Welch and Adalynn Grace Whitmer and siblings, Mary Florence Chapman, Hollie B. Blanton, Feenie Marie Byrge, Brenda Clevenger and Larry Glenn (Mary Jane) Hall.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). Raymond's funeral ceremony will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 10:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, with Minister Larry Sawyer officiating. Raymond will be laid to rest at Click Cemetery in Martin, Kentucky at 4pm.
