Raymond "Ray" Haines

Raymond G. Haines, 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Georgianna Haines; his son, Johnny Haines; brothers, Ed, Frankie, and Leroy Haines; and sister, Caroline Giddings.

Ray is survived by his devoted wife, Shirley Haines; son, Jim Haines (Tammy); brother, Jerry Haines; sisters, Bonnie Majeske and Anna Heacock; grandchildren, Tiffany Shacklette (Josh) and Brooke Haines; great-grandchildren, Nathan Leber (Brittany), Kaylee, Alexis, Jordan, and Ciera; and a soon-to-arrive great-great-grandson, Easton Patrick Leber.

Ray was the proud owner of AllState Builders and a man of many passions. He had a lifelong love of horses, blackjack, and cheering on the Cincinnati Reds and Kentucky Wildcats. He enjoyed placing a good bet on his ponies and never missed an opportunity to talk sports.

Above all, Ray treasured time with his family. He loved dancing, laughing, and playing with his grandchildren, leaving them with countless cherished memories. His humor, spirit, and love will live on through those who knew and loved him.

A private visitation for the family will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025. The family kindly asks that these wishes be respected as they grieve together in private.
