Raymond Frederick "Doodle" Lawson, Jr., 63, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016. He was born on October 26, 1952 in Louisville to the late Raymond F., Sr. and Janet V. (Rosenbarger) Lawson.
Raymond is survived by his daughter, Christina Yoakum Waits (James); sisters, Pamela Lawson Downs (Daniel), Bonita Lawson (Julie Domeck); girlfriend, Mary Betz; grandchildren, Taylor and Katherine Yoakum; nieces, Janna Downs Docs (Robert), and Emily Downs.
Cremation was chosen following Raymond's wishes and Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with his care. A celebration of his life will be from 1 PM to 3 PM on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church (2822 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206) with a graveside service taking place in the church memorial garden at 3 PM.
