Raymond M. Comstock

Raymond M. Comstock, 92, of Louisville, passed away on December 10, 2016. Raymond was born in Louisville on February 21, 1924 to the late George and Sophia Comstock. He was a proud Navy veteran of World War II and was involved in Valley Lodge Masons since 1958.

Raymond married the late Ruth Claire Comstock in Louisville in October 1952. She passed away in 2015. In addition to his wife, Raymond was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Wolff. He leaves two sons, Kerry Comstock (Diannea) and Barry Comstock; a sister, Dorothy Mattingly; a brother, Marvin Comstock (Barbara); a cherished daughter (in-law), Sherry Comstock; two grandchildren, Stephen (Tia) and Kelley Comstock; and two grand-cats, Bronson and Thumper.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272) with visitation from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be held at 7:00 pm Monday. Entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West will follow services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
