Ray Jessie West, 64, of Eighty Eight, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. He was born in Shelbyville, Kentucky on January 1, 1953 to the late Warren Allen and Martha Pauline West.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Warren Allen West.

Ray is survived by his beloved wife of 10 years, Susan West; his children, Nellie P. Cox, Ray Jessie (Pamela) West, Jr., Virginia Marie Peach, Faith Audrey West, Victoria (Lester) Wilkins, Rhonda Nunez, Charles Cotton, James Cotton, Don Silvey, Ronnie (Tina) Silvey, Susie (Gary) Anderson, Wendy (Tony) Logsdon, Christy (Roger) Guenther, Andy (Angie) Barber, Jason (Chrissy) Barber; sisters, Paula (Kelly) Jaworski, Dorothy (Chris) Strange, Cheryl Smith; brother, Bud (Tana) Wayne; 34 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends who will greatly miss him.

A celebration of Ray's life will be held at 5:00 pm Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions with a visitation Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm also at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272.
