Benjamin Ray Tackett born in Matewan West Virginia on April 23, 1924 passed away February 7 , 2018 after a short unexpected illness.
Ray was superintendent at Ohio Valley aluminum for 30 yrs and at Meijers on Westport road after retirement for 10 yrs. He was a member of Shelbyville Christian Church.
He leaves behind his wife of 58 years Evelyn Chaney Tackett, daughters; Donna, Linda, Cathy,
Sandra and sons Jimmy and Rick. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is loved by all.
Funeral arrangements are private.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you plant a tree in his honor.
