Ray "Big Daddy" Ostrom, 61, of Bagdad, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019.
He was born on July 9, 1958 in Rochester, New York to the late Raymond and Cleona (Schmidt) Ostrom. He is also preceded in death by his siblings Mark Ostrom, Fred Ostrom and Robin Jolley.
Ray was a 1976 graduate of Monroe High School in Rochester, New York. After graduating high school he proudly served in the United States Marines Corps from 1976 - 1980 as a Corporal. Ray retired from Xerox Corporation after 15 years of service.
Ray is survived by his children, Raymond Ostrom, Taryn Lear, Ryan Bounds, four grandchildren; Declan, Charlee, Emily, Dylan, sister Sherry Vice, nieces, Jennifer Jolley, Nicole Grathouse, Terri Vice, nephews, Corey Vice, Sean Ostrom and great nephew, Justin Jolley. He is also survived by the mother of Raymond and Taryn, Tammy Everly and many friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
