Ray Clinton Meyer

Ray "Paw" Clinton Meyer, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Ray was an avid Steelers and Kentucky Wildcats fan. He enjoyed spending time with his children and especially his grandchildren. Ray loved having family gatherings, and family BBQ's.

He was born on June 22, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to Edward and Essie Meyer. He is preceded in death by his Parents, and Brother, Junie Meyer.

Ray is survived by his, Daughters, Tara Hayes (Todd Sanders), Tiffany (Travis) Downs, and Chelsie Burlison, Sons, James (Jordan) Benson, and Nicholas Holbert, Grandchildren, Jordan (Madisyn) Marcum, Austin Troklus, Dylan Hayes, Hailey Hayes (Clayton Crase), Alyssa (Lane) Troklus, Blake Meyer, Brandon Meyer, Cayden Hayes, Gavin Burlison, and Brayden Benson, Great-Grandchildren, Mason Marcum, Remy Marcum, Milly Marcum, and Ashton Curtsinger, Sister, Sherry Crafts, Brothers, Steve (Pam) Meyer, Scotty Meyer, Barry (Julia) Meyer, and John (Cathy) Meyer. Ray also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Visitation will resume on Wednesday, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Kings Church New Cemetery in Mount Washington, Kentucky.
