Randy Dale Hopper, 66, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021. Randy was amazing at working with his hands and created many works of art from wood and metal. He enjoyed being outside completing any task that needed to be done.
He was born on July 17, 1954 in New Albany, Indiana to Christine (Meek) and the late Eugene Hopper. Along with his father, Randy is preceded in death by his brother, Billy Hopper.
Randy is survived by his loving wife, Betty (Kemp) Hopper; son, Jason (Layla) Hopper; 2 grandsons; 4 granddaughters; 2 great-grandchildren; step-son, Chris (Misato) McLain; siblings, Joyce (David) Hutchinson, Larrie (Diane) Hopper, Peggy (Jeff) Barton, and Robert Hopper.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany, (3309 Ballard Lane).
The family requests that contributions in Randy's memory be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
