Randall Massie

Randall Massie, 65, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017. He was the retired owner of Laser Communications. Randy enjoyed spending time outdoors with his dog, Wags. He was also an avid UK basketball fan and loved spending time with his family.

He was born on July 31, 1951, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Morgan and Louzelia "Zee" (Pulliam) Massie. Randy was also preceded in death by his brother, John Massie.

Randy is survived by his daughters, Andrea Rollins (William), Sara Goodlett (Josh), and Alicia Massie (Andy); sisters, Effie Rush and Judy Vermilya (Herb); sister-in-law, Joyce Massie; and grandchildren, Autumn, Dylan, Colin, Dawson, Kelsey, and Jeremy.

Cremation was chosen following Randy's wishes. A reception of family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Memorial Service taking place at 12:00 p.m.

The family requests that contributions in his memory be made to the New Albany/Floyd County Animal Shelter (215 West Market Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150).
