Ramona (Gibson) Striegel Phelps, 65, a kind-hearted person, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. She enjoyed reading and absolutely adored her grandchildren.
She was born on June 15, 1951, in Whitesburg, Kentucky. Ramona was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Striegel and Tommy Phelps; and brother, Darrel Gibson.
Ramona is survived by her daughter, Carla Mason (Daniel); sister, Kathy Bezy (Bob); brother, Roger Gibson (Louann); grandchildren, Tabatha Gardner and Kayla Mason; great-grandchildren, Ky'ree and Kadyn; nephew, Quentin Bezy; niece, Amanda Bezy; great-nephew, Joshua Bezy; and many good friends.
Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) with her Funeral Service taking place at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in New Albany.
