Ramon "DJ Ray" Rangel, Sr, 71, passed away on August 23, 2021. Ramon enjoyed collecting and reading books and listening to oldies but goodies. Spending time with his family and grandchildren meant the world to him.

He was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Diane Martinez and granddaughter, Alonie Martinez.

Ramon is survived by his wife, Rosalinda Rangel; children, Ramon Rangel, Jr, Rafael Martinez, Rose Marie Gonzales, Gloria Ann Hernandez and Mary Ann Rangel - Soto; step-son, Albert Martinez; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and numerous brothers and sisters.

A celebration of Ramon's life will be Friday, August 27, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions. Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, beginning at 6pm with a gathering of family and friends from 7pm-8pm.
