Rachel Grace Hanley Fowler

Rachel Grace Hanley Fowler, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully departed from this world on December 27, 2025, at the age of 67. She was a cherished confidante and source of love for all who knew her, residing in the heart of Louisville, Kentucky.

Born on December 19, 1958, in Owensboro, Kentucky, Rachel was raised by her loving parents, Earl and Martha Hanley. She carried their spirit of kindness throughout her life, embodying a warmth that made everyone feel welcome. Rachel's gentle nature and easygoing personality endeared her to all, and it was in the little moments—sharing laughter, dancing, or simply enjoying a good book—that she truly shined. Her love for family was unyielding, and she spent countless joyful hours chatting, dancing, and singing with those who held her dear.

Rachel is lovingly remembered by her husband, Keith Fowler. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Mary Watson and Kizzie Hanley; her cherished sons, Adrian Hanley and Darrell Hanley; as well as her beloved siblings: Brenda Watkins, Valerie (Charles) Brown, Earl Hanley, and Jerry Hanley. Rachel was a proud grandmother of nineteen and a great-grandmother to fifteen, nurturing not just a family, but a legacy of kindness and strength. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends, all of whom are grateful for the time they spent with her and will cherish her memory forever.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel. A funeral service will follow, celebrating Rachel's life, with her final resting place at Green Meadows Cemetery in Louisville.
