Primrose Jane Jacobs

Primrose Jane (Reas) Jacobs, 70, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017. She was an avid painter and loved to collect Elvis Presley memorabilia. Prim was a long-time member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Hobart Beach Post 1693.
She was born on September 16, 1946, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late John and Ambrosia Reas. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Penny Dale; and brother, Bruce Reas.
Prim is survived by her son, Jefferson Jacobs (Maria); brother, J. Reas (Sherrie); sister, Zee Oskin; and her beloved grandpuppy, Elway.
Cremation was chosen following Prim's wishes and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
