Phyllis Jean Scott, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021.
She was born on February 6, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to Roy E. Wiley Jr. and Earlina (Moxley) Wiley. She is preceded in death by her father. Phyllis was united in marriage to Herbert Lee. Scott Jr. on February 6, 1993. She retired from the Family Health Center in 2014, while in their Medical Records Department. Phyllis will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved everyone's children and was always the life of the party.
Phyllis is survived by her loving husband, Herbert L Scott, mother, Earlina Wiley, sons, Andre' (Tonette) Wiley, Jimmy (Myra) Wiley and Christopher (Erin) Scott, siblings, Regina Carter, Roy (Lynn) Wiley, III, Geraldine Smith, Deborah Wiley and Toni (Robert) Wilson, grandchildren , Devin Schaffer, Brandon Green, Trinity Wiley, Christopher Scott, II, Kierra Scott, Ieshia Irvin, Edward Monroe, III and Jon Russell. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
