Phyllis Jean (Marshall) Hack, 56, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on June 30, 2017.

Phyllis was born on April 18, 1961, in Bardstown, Kentucky, to the late John William and Mary Catherine Marshall. She was also preceded in death by her five brothers and one sister.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, James Ray Hack, Sr.; children, Sanquita Marshall, Anthony Marshall, Kim Wilbanks (Cordero), John Marshall (Hannah), and Eric Marshall; stepchildren, James Hack, Jr., Cynthia Hack, and Jennifer Hack; sisters, Dorothy Crunes, Sandra Miles, Jo Caroline Stone, and Nora Marshall; niece, Carla Graves; nephew, Glenn "Slim" Marshall; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Her Funeral Ceremony will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery (800 East Sixth Street, New Albany).
