Phyllis Kay Brown, 78, passed away on April 20, 2021. She retired from JCPS, as a special needs driver, after 25 years. Phyllis's special needs children were very near and dear to her heart. After retirement she went to work at UofL in the dorms enjoying her college kids. Phyllis was a passionate artistic painter and she also enjoyed swimming at the YMCA with her girlfriends. She had a great laugh, a big heart and was full personality. Phyllis was a child of God and a prayer warrior.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Bryan and Martha Parker and brother, Pete Parker
She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Terry (Rhonda) Brown; daughter, Carla (Jerry) Likens; grandchildren, Marie Likens, Wes Allen, Shelby Likens, Jesse Brown, Chad Brown and Alicia Brown; great-grandchildren, Spencer Ray Brown and Riley Rose Brown and siblings, Dudley (Rebecca #1) Parker, Marcia (Larry) Shepard, Gloria Driskell and Dennis (Rebecca #2) Parker.
