Phillip Terry "Phil" Pelfrey, 74, of Charlestown, IN and formerly of Champaign, IL passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016. He attended Sunnyside Assembly of God in Jeffersonville, IN.

Phil was born on June 16, 1941 in Champaign, IL to the late William & Clara (Smith) Pelfrey. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Renee Pelfrey.

He is survived by his wife of over 26 years, Vicki (Ballard) Pelfrey; children, Elizabeth Nava (Rob), William "Billy" Pelfrey (Rebecca), Laura Anderson (David), Susan Radden (Dave), Mary Mensing (Ryan), Katherine Themig (John), & Sarah Parker (Sean); 19 grandchildren, 1 great grandson; siblings, Trudee Sharon, Linda Morenz, & Pam Lee; half siblings, Dianne Apperson, Karen Sipes, Nancy Winter, John Laitner, Ron Apperson, Jackie Taha, & Linda Apperson.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM, Friday, February 26, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Additional Visitation will be from 2 to 5 PM, Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Freese Funeral Home (302 E. Grand, St. Joseph, IL 61873).
