Phillip Cates Stine

Phillip Cates Stine, aged 70, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away at home with his beloved wife and daughters by his side on Friday, October 23, 2026. Born on November 1, 1955, in Amarillo, Texas, to Jim and June Stine, Phillip was a devoted husband and father.

He proudly served the nation for ten years in the US Army and later worked as a printer for two decades. Phillip had a passion for working on cars and found joy in spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Diane Spencer, Kelly Hyde, and Julie Woolery. He is survived by his cherished wife of 47 years, Charlene Stine; his daughters, Christina Stine and Yvonne Stine; and his siblings, Liz Halderman, Kay Stine, Casey Kimble, and Bill Sherbon.
