Perseus Raeden "Percy" Clephas, age 3 of Louisville, passed peacefully in his sleep, October 16th, 2020. He was a very bright, happy, and caring child. He had survived a fight with a neuroimmune disorder (ADEM) back in 2018 and he was recovering much faster than expected. He was the light in the dark, the laughter among the waves of depression, and the wind beneath our wings. If asked what his favorite color was, he would say "green" one day, and "pink" the next.
Percy is survived by his loving parents, Randal Clephas and Jasmine Clayton; grandparents, Nakisha and William, Christine and Michael; aunts and uncles, Nate, Sam, Edward, Veronica, and Shelbie; God-parents, Brittany "Meep-Meep" and Michael Rickert; great-grandparents, Katrina and Mark, Yvonne, Shirley, and Dorothy; his best 4 legged friend, Hoss; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be 1 to 4 pm on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky (in Middletown), with a celebration of Percy's life at 4 pm. In honor of his favorite colors, we ask that everyone please wear pink and/or green, if possible.
Memorials may be made to the Siegel Rare Neuroimmune Association (SRNA) (www.wearesrna.org), Norton Children's Hospital, and/or Frazier Rehab Center in Percy's name.
