Perian Denise Walker passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Perian had a loving and kind heart. She adored animals, which included working for an animal welfare facility. She especially had a heart for strays. In her last years, she fed all the outdoor critters.
She loved giving gifts, even in seasons where she didn't have much to give. She especially loved Christmas and would sometimes start her shopping on December 26th. It was an all-year project.
Besides Christmas music, she was passionate about all kinds of music. Her collection included country, soul, rock, and pop. Her favorite song was "Yellow Ledbetter" by Pearl Jam. She was known to say, "If you have a song in your heart, sing it out loud and sing it out strong."
Most of all, she loved her friends and her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Bass and her step-father, William Arnold. She is survived by her son, Trent Crofts, her grandchildren Pepper Crofts and Simeon Crofts, her mother, Janet Arnold, her sister, Portlan Patel, her niece, Sheena Carnell, her great-niece, Ramayah Carnell and her great-nephew Jaziah Carnell She will be dearly missed. To quote her favorite movie, the Wizard of Oz, "A heart is not judged by how much you love; but by how much you are loved by others."
Per Perian's wishes cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
