Penny Marie Simpson Weathers

Penny Marie (Simpson) Weathers, 43, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016. She was a hard worker and a great caregiver for many years. Penny was a member at Safe Harbor Church in Clarksville, Indiana, and enjoyed coloring, reading, and spending time with her family.

She was born on July 31, 1973, in Orlando, Florida, to Daniel and LaWanda (Trimble) Weathers. Penny is survived by her loving husband, Doug Simpson; her children, Kayla, Austin, and Kelsie Weathers; her brother, John Weathers (Marcy); grandchildren, Peyton and Mia; and nieces, Destiny and Devyn.

There will be a visitation here on Friday, November 25, 2016, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Her Service will be on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation before from 9:00 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in care of the family to LaWanda Weathers.
