Peggy Ann Smith, 72, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Peggy was a long-time member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was gifted in quilting and crafts and dearly loved her family.
She was born on March 4, 1949, in Bloomfield , Kentucky, to the late Clayton and Dorothy (Brown) Ashby. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, David Ashby.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Jeffrey Smith, Sr.; son, Jeffrey (Shannon) Smith, Jr.; daughter, Jennifer (Joe) Pascoe; brother, Danny (Nancy) Ashby; sisters, Judy Ashby and Mary Ashby; and grandchildren, Caitlin, Benjamin, Joshua, Cora, Jacob, and Hannah.
Cremation was chosen following Peggy's wishes.
