Peggy Ann (Tomes) Searcy, 73, of Laconia, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020. Peggy was a member of Northside Christian Church and enjoyed camping, planting flowers, gardening, and canning fruits and vegetables from her garden.
She was born on December 19, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late William and Mary (Cross) Tomes. Along with her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her brothers, William Tomes and Charles Tomes.
Peggy is survived by her loving children, Sherry Taylor and Todd Taylor; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren with one more on the way.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. Cremation will follow according to her wishes.
The family requests that contributions in Peggy's memory be made to Northside Christian Church.
