Dempsie Peggy Rose, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on January 7, 2016. She retired from Consolidated Sales Company.
Peggy was born on August 27, 1939, in Hodgenville, Kentucky to the late Garrett and Katherine Akridge; she was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Dempsie; brothers, Herbert Akridge, Bobby Akridge, Cecil Akridge, Donald Akridge; and one sister, Christine Dooley.
She is survived by her children, James White (Linda), Rockie Lockard, Kenny White (Margie), Petra Krone; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville), with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Hosparus of Louisville for their care and compassion.
