Peggy Lynn Walls, 70, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on January 20, 2016. She was a former member of The First Baptist Church in New Albany, Indiana. Peggy worked as an LPN for 34 years and spent the majority of it at Lincoln Hills Nursing Home in New Albany, Indiana. She was a great caregiver, loved animals, and enjoyed bird-watching.
Peggy was born on June 12, 1945, in New Albany, Indiana, to Ervin and Anna (Gardner) Walls. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, David, Larry, and Steve Walls. Peggy is survived by her loving daughter, Treasure Frederickson (Jay); grandchild, Noah; sisters-in-law, Annie and Rita Walls; 3 nieces; and 5 nephews.
Visitation will be from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. with visitation before from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 25, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Floyd County Humane Society (215 West Market Street, New Albany, IN 47150) or ASPCA (P.O. Box 96929, Washington D.C. 20090-6929).
